“Hello everyone, I am the health science robot Xiao An. Now, I will take you on a tour of the Zhenghe County Health Science Museum. Please follow my steps and embark on a journey to health.” On July 25, within the county’s health science museum, an intelligent tour guide robot powered by the DeepSeek large model was leading citizens through the experience. As the first multifunctional science museum themed around health in Nanping City, the museum uses immersive interaction and intelligent experiences to make health knowledge lively and interesting.
“After visiting the science museum, I found that the health knowledge I previously thought was dull is actually much more engaging here. The examination equipment speaks more clearly than the health check report, explaining how to improve health in a straightforward manner, which is much more practical than reading some articles.” Citizen Zhang Hua stated.
The Zhenghe County Health Science Museum is located on the first floor hall of the county’s CDC, covering an area of 500 square meters. It is the first multifunctional science museum themed around health in Nanping City, featuring five exhibition areas including infectious disease prevention and control, mental health pavilion, and VR experience area, equipped with the DeepSeek large model intelligent tour guide robot, integrating health knowledge dissemination and intelligent science product experiences.
“Compared to traditional methods like distributing flyers and giving lectures, our museum adopts an interactive learning design, introducing big data analysis, and establishing health self-testing functions, allowing the public to engage in immersive interactive experiences and better absorb health knowledge.” County Health Science Museum guide Wei Bingkai explained.
From “distributing flyers” to “playing VR”, from “listening to lectures” to “human-machine dialogue”, the innovative practices of the Zhenghe County Health Science Museum showcase the transformation direction of health education in the new era. When cold medical knowledge meets warm technological interaction, health science is becoming more relatable and accessible.
“In the next step, we will expand our reach, relying on intelligent experience integration machines, VR, and other interactive devices to conduct experiences, and collaborate with communities and schools to carry out ‘health check-in’ activities, guiding the public from ‘passive acceptance’ to ‘active learning’.” Wang Minxiong, a member of the county health bureau party committee and director of the county health supervision office, said he hopes to make health science as integrated into daily life as “shopping in a supermarket” through fun interactions, truly enhancing the health literacy of the entire population.
