The results show that urban development presents a tiered distribution, with Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Xuzhou in the first tier, cities like Hangzhou, Chongqing, Nanjing, and Guangzhou in the second tier, and core cities in the central and western regions such as Chengdu and Hefei leading the third tier.

Dimension Index Analysis: In terms of industrial competitiveness, the industrial scale of Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Xuzhou ranks at the forefront, while cities like Beijing and Wuhan have distinct industrial structure characteristics, with first-tier cities having leading enterprise strength. Regarding new productive forces, Beijing has a strong new talent pool, with new infrastructure construction in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chongqing leading the way, and new production factor advantages are evident in Beijing and Hangzhou. In terms of technological innovation capability, Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing have significant investments in technological innovation, with rich outputs in technological innovation from Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. For intelligent connectivity driving force, cities like Beijing and Jinan rank high, showing significant application innovation results in new industrialization, intelligent governance, smart living, and agricultural modernization. In terms of ecological synergy, cities like Beijing and Shenzhen have strong government support, with robust capital empowerment capabilities in Beijing and Shenzhen, and leading service capabilities in platforms.

Development Suggestions: Continue to promote innovation in key IoT technologies, improve the standard system, deepen empowerment in the digital field, explore the cultivation of new productive forces, and optimize the development ecosystem. This includes strengthening industrial operation monitoring, building public service platforms, and focusing on talent cultivation to address existing issues in industrial development and promote high-quality development of the IoT industry.
