This Saturday at 3 PM
The editor stepped into room 603 with excitement
Asking why so excited
That’s because, the Arduino course has started!
After the course launched, the number of sign-ups far exceeded the expected number.
——“Hey, the makerspace has an Arduino course, do you want to sign up together?”
——“Wow! It looks so fun, let’s sign up!”
The editor signed up with his friends this way.
I wonder if there are any experts who also participated in this course, anyway, the novice editor and his novice friends had very little exposure to hardware control knowledge before.
Although exams are approaching and everyone is busy with their studies, but —
There are still no empty seats, right!
Now, let’s review what was covered in this class.
The main speaker for this class was Ouyang Aobing from the makerspace (Big Brother Bing!)
First, Big Brother Bing introduced us to what Arduino is and its various advantages.
Arduino is affordable and easy to use, suitable for rapid development, and has great potential for development;
Then Big Brother Bing introduced some applications related to Arduino.
Smart gloves for sign language, cocktail robots, drip alarm decorations, and posture correctors, some applications are really super interesting!
Next, we entered the most important part of the course — the introduction and usage of the Arduino panel;
Big Brother Bing detailed the introduction of the Arduino Uno development board and breadboard, as well as the usage of the Arduino IDE;
The task of this course is to make a traffic light, which should be the most basic task;
(Note: the long leg of the light (which is a diode) connects to the positive, and the short leg connects to the negative, don’t connect it wrong)
Code time
The code is easy to understand because it is very similar to C language! Students with a little foundation can use it flexibly.
Everyone listened very attentively;
Give a thumbs up to Big Brother Bing for teaching~
Next, it’s our hands-on time!
First, familiarize yourself with the operation panel, connect the circuit, write the code that Bing taught us into the Arduino IDE, connect to the computer port, and a traffic light is completed!
The first basic class is easy to get started with, everyone completed it quickly, and a simple traffic light can be made quickly.
Some students were not satisfied with just making a traffic light, constantly asking if there are other fun things to try.
Hehe, this class covers very basic content, so the next class will be a bit more challenging —
We will make an Arduino electronic piano!
Doesn’t that sound more interesting?
Next week at Qiming 603, see you there~ O(∩_∩)O;
Little Announcement
The kits used in class cannot be taken out of 603, so remember to return the kits after class!
